During the last weeks of the module, we turn to children's literature, counter-and / or pop cultures and think about new models of Britishness in a global context.

If you are studying this module, you will need to read and reflect on the choice of primary and secondary sources both as independent students and as part of a seminar group. A guided tour (or similar online material) will encourage you to think about British culture outside of the classroom. Periodic movie screenings will complement the mandatory literature. Informal group presentations can be part of the module to help you work together and summarize the knowledge you have gained. • Thirdly, communication with the teacher is not limited only to lessons, since you not only study, but also live in the teacher's house. Therefore, the acquisition of additional skills of a live spoken language will take place at breakfast, lunch and dinner, during the evening watching your favorite movie and news, or during a Sunday trip out of town.

  • Fourth, the organizers of the program will try to choose the family in which you will live and study with maximum accuracy, in accordance with your wishes.

  • Fifth, it is not necessary for a child or an adult to go to this program alone. The teacher's family is ready to accept two or three friends or family. At the same time, everyone does not necessarily have to study. For example, while the mother is studying, a nanny will sit with the child.
